I have xp pro with a intel board....whats the command to bring up the config screen at start up...for the life of me i can't remember...

I've not used an intel board in a long time, but it is either Delete or F2 on most of the systems I have dealth with.

Usually I hammer on esc, F1, F2 and delete.  One of those does it for me on most mobos.  Except HPs.  Damn you HP, damn you to HELL!

if the screen goes too fast for you to see which key to hit, once at the POST screen, hit Pause. It actually works!

I have to format my cpu it's acting up just ordered new hd and I'm gonna try vista and see what happens..

The pause button is left over from back in the days of thin clients and mainframes.  I am pretty sure it still works for various stuff in terminal emulators to. 

I have to format my cpu it's acting up just ordered new hd and I'm gonna try vista and see what happens..

Don't do it unless you have a beefy system, I recomend 3 gigs of ram a decent processor/video card.
