Guys get this RIGHT now, and get IN game. it has to be the best F2P game ever. Better than alot of other mmos ive played as well.
http://vindictus.nexon.net/It has the mmo feel, though the way the game is done, it feels smooth like from a console. Its hard to explain, but its a new feel to mmo. Almost kind of like the feel of playing wow for the first time or something.
Rather than tab targeting like wow, its hack and slash like a Diablo style. Camera is third person like wow char. There's the usual leveling, and skill developing to make you unique, though there's alot of other new concepts and other shit I dont understand yet hehe.
I dont know how else to explain it.. its a pretty damn cool genre addition to mmorpg. You choose a character at start which fills out your role:
which is beta atm, so only 2 are available; a dual wielder and a sword/board. I think you could use a shield with either, though the defender chick would be better etc. They are fixing to add the caster, though I think with staff weapons and skills you could cast heals with the first two(maybe something like the new FF).
And it's cool all the objects are destructable, and can be intereacted with to throw or use as weapons.
Oh, another cool concept is that when creating your character, you can scale them. Which can often be done in other games, but in this one it has pros and cons, such as larger characters having better weapon reach, and slightly more damage, whereas the smaller ones have faster attacks, and a smaller hitbox making them hard to hit.
Pretty cool imo anyways.
