And Dyeboy-  what happens if you got one for christmas, but didn't necessarily want one?  Like ..as in...I just unpacked it, hooked it up to the TV and played a demo game for like...10 minutes...so far.

I own a xbox. It has about 5 inches of dust on it but its still hooked up to my TV. I use mine as a DvD player because I dont wanna spend money on a real one and, I dont have zillions of dollars to throw at a HTPC.

My PS3 gets used very little right now, mostly blu ray, because I am waiting for the games in March. I play on my roommates 360 for mw2, but getting bored with that, and the 360 timing out randomly from games, not connecting to live, and just freezing.

I didn't have enough Rainbow Bucks to purchase a [Wolverines] guildname so I had to join up with --{HELLREAVERS}--.    It's pretty cool though, they already have the Blueberry Bush Clubhouse and they get every member a +3 Nunchuk and some Sparkly Blue Paint(tm).

This is a very interesting question.  I know you to be a gamer, but I've always seen you play FPS's, except that time I saw you play WoW

Let me break it down this way.  Are you questioning the purchase of getting an Xbox as opposed to the following

Xbox vs another console? (Ps3, Wii), or Xbox vs nothing?

What games would you forsee yourself playing on the Xbox?  

Any other features that are making you lean towards it? (zune service, netflix etc).
