Most seem to be wording changes, but there's a couple big ones in there like no more mana burn and combat no longer using the stack.

Let's just say I stopped playing around the tim of Ice Age, how drastic of a rules change from that time is it?

This change, not too drastic.
The shit they changed between the two is drastic; no more interrupts, the stack, etc.

Whats this deal on Planewalking?

I only just started getting back into Magic the past month or so, and my old deck (a dragon burn from back around Ice Age) gets trumped almost every time by the newest Multi-colored deck.

The newer sets (read last couple dozen) are much more powerful then the old sets.

Ah, ok.  I saw something about the new large cards that would have World Enchant style impact on play, but hadn't seen anything about them being packaged with decks.
