Title: ODST
Post by: Krogoth on September 18, 2009, 06:28:46 AM
So, I got my hands on a copy today, damn its pretty sweet. I've only played the campaign a little bit. They throw you at roughly the same amount of enemies, but you have only about half the shield. There's a "direct" (read: harder) way of just killing things and there is at least one way around to flank them.

Firefight is a new game type that is comparible to any "Waves" type game. But god damn is it HARD. The first time I played I made it to the 3rd wave. The second I made it to the 3rd round, 2nd wave. So much fun with a partner.

It comes with a bonus disk that is Halo 3 Multiplayer with all of the maps on the disk. If you already own Halo 3, rip the maps, and give the disk to a friend who doesn't own Halo 3 yet.

All in all, a pretty good game.

We got it the night it came out! I love this game some much! We beat campaign that night. It took us for ever cuz we did it on legendary! I like the whole idea of flanking and stealthily instead of guns blazing wham bam every one is dead stuff!

P.S. Did you get the reach beta?

I picked it up earlier this week.  The story experience has been very enjoyable thus far.  I plan on trying Firefight soon.
