Ive been out of the loop of PC dynamics for some time, so when i went out and purchased a geforce 6600 to throw in, I realized that it didnt fit. I then realized there was no video card in there. since when the fuck did they start integrating them. anyways the mission is to find out what video cards are compatible with Dell dimension E310 / 3100, whether geforce 5700 + or radeon 9500 + . I gather a gefore 5500 has be slotted in and brought to opertation, but BF2142 as well as other new games wont float that

i did some looking around, and i've found that this lovely computer doesn't even have a slot for either AGP or PCI-E.

meaning, if you wanna play BF2 or BF2142, you need to buy a whole new system, WITH either an AGP or PCI-E slot, whichever version that 6600 you bought is

well i realized that i did infact buy an AGP video card, where Dell claims it has a slot for the PCI or PC express, in which it does in fact show a slot for it. Just need to exchange it tomorrow. should hopefully fit
