So has the Battlefield series fixed their insane load times? I can't decide if I want to go "Prestige" in MW2 or get a copy of BF BC2

load times aren't to bad anymore. but i am pounding out 8 gigs of ram.

Yeah, they've worked on the server interface also so much easier to find a server closer to you with lower ping. Of course a LOT of folks have had problems with the newest patch that include being kicked over and over and over randomly and lower forced framerates.

I only prestiged once. The first time you get an extra custom, after that it is only every other. So didn't feel like it was worth it.

Yeah, the every other thing is annoying, but I play enough that I will go ahead and get at least the first two extra slots. They come in really handy if you mix up game types a lot. Plus you get enough kick ass weapons early on that it's not horrible.
