There's no *technical* reason why you couldn't play any XBox game with XBox controllers on a PC right now.  It's all about marketing/money.

As far as we know we'll have to turn on our Xbox on the 19th to get the Yes, I want to download the update prompt, it won't automatically DL it if I leave it on overnight...right?

Netflix announced they are doing this as well.

Correct, you'll have to restart your xbox in order for the download to start.

So, I got my new dashboard downloaded this morning, but didn't have time to do anything with it.  If the time estimate was correct, it only took about 10 minutes from turning it on to having it installed and ready to use.  I went to get ready for work after it got to the install phase so I'm not sure if it's 8 minute estimate was right or not.


After getting to work, I saw this little tidbit.  Just one more reason I get to say FUCK SONY!!

Jesus H. Christ, are you kidding me? This is about to kick off my own personal Sony hate train. I've been indifferent until now, but this move is  fifth grade, and I'm pretty sure I dropped out of school to avoid that grade.
