If you bought your Xbox 360 in Japan and created an XBox Live account, you have access to a game demos and live content that are unavailable to players in the states. But there is a way to bypass this because you can create a Japanese XBox Live Silver account on your domestic 360. With the Japanese account, you can download demos and content available only in the Japanese Live Marketplace, but you access the content with any gamer profile from any region. Thus, you can make a fake Japanese account, download all the content you want and then delete the account when you're done. The content will still be on your hard drive when the fake account is deleted.
Is it worth it? Well, it's pretty easy to do; it only took me about 10 min. Even though right now there's only one demo that's worth downloading (Tenchu Z, which is awesome btw), it's still cool to see the Japanese Marketplace.
You can create a fake account by registering for a new Windows Live ID and specifying your country as Japan .

http://yubin.senmon.net/en/11/11226/Once you have your new Windows Live ID, fire up your 360 and create a new XBox Live account (you do remember how to do that right?) and enter in your newly created ID. The setup will ask you to fill in more information such as a phone number and address. Make up both by entering a random 10 digit number and some random kanji for the address (you'll see what I mean when you get to it). Say yes to all the good privacy bullshit and you're done. Now, have fun with your anime and J-Pop filled marketplace.
