Good move on the proc.  Let me see if I have any info I can share with you from the last Intel event I was at...

OK... so the chipset you want to look for is P965 or 975X.  I would go for the 975X... it's more gamer friendly.  You can get a great run down of mobo's on Tom's Hardware.  They just redid their site and it's real easy to navigate.  I think you'll find they're a great resource for quite a bit of hardware/components. 

The CPU is a Q6600.  Now keep in mind that you don't need to get the quad up front.  You can get a dual core and run it on one of those boards and upgrade it later.

Oh... also the Extreme Edition of the Quad Core is the Q6700.  I'll get you stats on that and what makes it Extreme, but that will set you back over a thousand bucks just for the proc.

After visiting JT's pimp pad this weekend I have determined that my pc is fine and I need a high def projector and HD-DVD player.

That is all. My pc plays wow just fine and wow is all I play....even though I hate it.
