Title: Satellite Radios Post by: Kith on December 18, 2008, 04:46:56 PM I need opinions on what is the best to get these days. The local station that I listened to has just replaced their morning show with Bob and Tom and I'd rather shoot myself than listen to Bob and Tom.
I know that both companies combined into one not too long ago, but I recall hearing that one or the other had a better audio quality. And if anyone has opinions on specific radios, those would be helpful too. Title: Re: Satellite Radios Post by: Hawkes on December 18, 2008, 05:08:42 PM In audio quality, XM had always done better technology wise, however, everyone's ears are different and the reviews I read made that point. Basically, YMMV (your mileage may vary). I have had XM for years and never had an audio issue, but then again, I am not an audiophile listening for small nuances that would ruin my listening experience. Go to a Best Buy or Circuit City and listen for yourself.... that's the best advice.
Title: Re: Satellite Radios Post by: Reddawn on December 18, 2008, 05:43:10 PM I was day One XM but moved over to Sirius after XM kept jerking around the channels I listened to so they could make room for baseball and Oprah. I like the programming at Sirius better for the music channels.
Title: Re: Satellite Radios Post by: Reddawn on December 18, 2008, 06:00:27 PM Satellite radio is the way to go....anyone that listens to testicular radio is, to quote the Iron Sheik, a cheap jew bastard!
Title: Re: Satellite Radios Post by: Turkley on December 18, 2008, 07:02:59 PM I have never listened to XM, but I have Sirius and its pretty good. It won't matter after too much longer since they are combining.
Title: Re: Satellite Radios Post by: Snackcakes on December 18, 2008, 07:04:28 PM how are the prices these days for the radios? pretty reasonable?

Title: Re: Satellite Radios Post by: Varg on December 18, 2008, 09:44:50 PM Just my opinion, but sat radio sounds like you are listening to music on a fisherprice radio in a trash can.
