Title: Dave Arneson RIP Post by: Volk on April 11, 2009, 04:45:00 AM Some of you may know that Dave Arneson passed away late Tuesday night, and some of you may be thinking "Who the hell is Dave Arnseson?"
Dave Arnseon was the brains behind D&D. Gary Gygax may have made the game popular, but Dave is the one that took the first group of Chainmail players and had them control only one character. He invented the first Campaign Setting, Blackmoor, which isn't surprising, since he ivented the concept of Campaign Settings.
