Title: Them Crooked Vultures
Post by: Snackcakes on November 23, 2009, 03:28:10 PM
Anyone check this band out yet? Sounds pretty good. It's the drummer from Foo Fighters Dave Grohl, Josh Hommes from Queens of the Stone Age, and John Paul Jones from Led Zeppelin

I paid 120 bucks for tickets that I had to give away because of work, I heard mixed reviews of the show so I stopped paying attention.

For super groups of this year my money is on Shrine Builder.

It's the drummer from Foo Fighters Dave Grohl

You mean the lead for FF? He was drummer while in Nirvana.

The guitar player from Sin Nombre walked out half way through the show, one out of every three or four people I talk to said they enjoyed it.

I see.

Well thats kind of interesting seeing that he was a pre-madonna about being referred to as the drummer of Nirvana, when Foo Fighters was first out

Heard some play on a local station round these parts.  Must say they are at least better than the super-group Monsters of Folk or that stupid "super-group" made up from several unknown bands.
