I wanted to play and MMO and i didnt want it to be WoW. Just burnt out on it. So I checked out how the fixes on "Age of Conan". It looks like a lot of the bugs at launch were fixed.
There an endless trial for it, you just cant leave the starting zone(plenty to do there). The game is pretty freaking metal and you can chop peoples heads off or pull there heart out and eat it.  Guilds get to build there own cities and you can attack other guilds keeps. The sound track is pretty awesome, graphics are VERY good, but you will need good hardware in order for them to looks that good. The way combat works is pretty neat, its kind of hard to explain but its a nice break from the way all the other rpgmmos do it.  The one thing that I really like about it is that you really feel a part of the Conan lore, and your destiney quests (the ones you do at night) really give you a feeling of being part of that universe.

If your bored get the trial, i am playing on wicciana. I think the game itself is 29.99 or something im not sure so may end up getting it if i keep likeing what i am seeing.

I actually played it when I got my new computer.  I bought it when I had my old computer but it wouldnt run.  I think I played it for a bit but then got bored (mmo's have been boring me quickly lately).  I liked it but the thought of playing solo didn't really do it for me so...  I guess I could look into it again.

I was interested in getting this when it first came out, though I got discouraged by the system reqs.

Maybe the trial might be worthwhile.

There a specific server, allegiance etc?

Wiccian is the server i think is what its called.  I picked Cimmerian Conqueror I dont know what part that plays in PVP in end game, i think it depends on your guild maybe? I have no idea.

No, click on options or whatever and online download the starting 2 hours and levels 1-20 or whatever. I forget the exact screen name but its one of the options on the launcher. It will restart it after you make the change though...

Well fuck. Would have been nice to know this before taking a nap.

I restarted with the 1-20 selected and it gave me 8 gigs to download. about what I had left with all the level ranges selected.

5.7 gigs to go.

This trial covers levels 1-20?

You can level as high as you want to i think, but cant leave the island, which i would imagine is hard to level past 20 on.

left attack, center attack, right attack, combo + left attack, combo 2 with center attack, combo 3 with right attach, knock down...all I was doing was hitting buttons....and that bitch could have helped in those fights
