Fuck that, anything over 5 feet and I am out.  I don't even like driving on the skyway in to Chicago.   I'll ride roller coasters but only because I like simulated scared not real scared.  That video makes me want to piss myself and or vomit while crying a lot.

LOL! You and Turkley were some scared bitches even at Niagra Falls. I went up with my buddy one time in a Huey for the national guard and he said we were at 10,000ft but I think he might have been bullshitting me....but we were HIGH. I poked my head over the edge and popped a wood.

Last I heard we can't have an erection because it's George Bush's fault  :D

If you enjoy heights, there is something wrong inside your brains.  Seriously.  Consider for a moment that the two primary objectives of all animal and human instincts are 1) Procreate and 2) Survive.  You can't fuck high places.  You can fuck IN a high place, but the high place is rarely necessary for the fucking.  You also considerably lower your chances for survival the higher up you go.

The natural argument to be made is that there is an adrenaline rush when you are up high and that is enjoyable.  This only reinforces my point.  The adrenaline rush is the body's reaction to the realization that it's somewhere it shouldn't the fuck be and now's the time to get back down before something horrible happens.  To remain there and enjoy the panic response of your body means your brain is broken.  Get help.

Thats a fundamentally flawed argument.

Survival can, and has often been associated with high places. Such places can provide safety from predators and natural events  such as floods or other phoenomina.

e.g.  Swarzenegger told them to get to da chopper to get away from the Predator, and it worked.

LOL!

It's a fine point you make, if slightly exaggerated.  There is certainly a time for "taking the high ground", "heading for high ground", "taking the high road", or "accompanying Stu atop his high horse", but I would argue that in any of those scenarios, the most obvious manifestation of that higher place would not be the top of a 1,700' tall tower, a stupid half-bridge over the Niagara Falls, or hanging your head out of a helicopter at 10,000'.  All I'm saying is that maybe one of the lower shades of gray would be appropriate.

That just depends.

C'mon man, that stupid half bridge is awesome.  I worked there for 2 seasons.  I held the record for the most people on a down trip in the elevator.  Them Japanese tourists would simply NOT stop going in the elevator until you threw yourself in front of them to make them stop.

Going from just above the runway to 16000' in 11 seconds in an F-16 was pretty cool.  Before I had my ride most of the time spent in briefings was what would I have to do if we needed to punch out.

All of that said though, F climbing that tower and F jumping out of a perfectly good airplane.

Oh - I also went up with the Army's Golden Knights parachute team... I was double-seat-belted in but was sitting right on the edge of the open door on the side of the plane.  Good times.

That's really awesome, I am jealous of your ability to do that.  I think I would be to scared to enjoy it.

100 floors up in a tower in Chicago and was disappointed that it wasn't just an open railing. :(
