Title: Anyone from/been to Portland and Seattle? Post by: RedDawn on November 27, 2010, 02:00:59 AM I am flying down to Phoenix and a few of us are going on a massive road trip. The stops: Phoenix to San Fran to Portland to Seattle to Boise to Las Vegas to Grand Canyon then back to Phoenix.

THe Pike Place Market is pretty touristy, but if you hit 1st AVE in Seattle and the rest of the waterfront there are some awesome clubs and bars. In Portland there REALLY is nothing to see. it's pretty boring, but you can go out to MacMinville and check out the flight/space museum, that is pretty sweet, it has the Spruce Goose.

The Experience Music Project was interesting. Pikes place was not what I thought it would be and the first Starbucks is interesting in how subdued it was.
