Title: headphones opinions - in-ear
Post by: RedDawn on March 31, 2010, 03:51:46 PM
I think some fucking queer at work stole my Etymotic ER-6i's. So now I need to buy headphones. Time will be split between my Zune and iPhone 3G. The remote/mic thing for the iPhone isn't that big of a deal.

Any suggestions? JT seems to like his Monster beats.

Go to the Apple store at Easton and get some Beats Tour w/ ControlTalk (http://beatsbydre.com/products/Products.aspx?pid=B5097).  They sound great.  I wear them 5-10 hours a day and they never get uncomfortable.  They have the best cable ever.  They're loud as shit without getting muddy or distorted.  They are, however, a little pricey.

Steer clear of the Klipsch S4i's.  They actually sound really good if you're sitting still but you pick up TONS of cable noise if you're walking around.  Also, the only ear piece that would stay in my ear was too big and caused discomfort after 10 minutes or so.

Can't remember the model, but I test-drove a set of Shures that weren't bad.  They were pretty meh.  Sound quality was ok.  Cable noise was ok.  Everything was just ok.  They were half the price of the Beats, but since I use them so much I decided to splurge on the better product.

ok it's confirmed JT is the only person that has an opinion on this board.

The rest of you could have copy and pasted shit like you do in the political and religious threads.

That Panda is eating his arm! I don't ever get to use headphones so I have no clue what some good ones are. Sorry to be of no use to you, your Redness.

You can also run them through the washer and dryer and they work fine afterwards

What, you want to know about my 10$ headphones from Wal-mart? Alright let me fill you in. The sound is mediocre, they fit around the ear which is why I bought them, if they get too loud they sound like your music is coming through a piece of rattling tin foil. the cord is decent length to where I can have my 1st generation Ipod shuffle in my pocket and don't have length issues. I have had them for about 3 months which is the usual life span of cheap headphones so anytime now I should get a short, or the earpiece will fall apart.

Bet you won't say that to a Muslim about Allah.

Almost all libs are like that. Only go after the Christians, because they are too pussy to say shit like that to a Muslim.

Instead they cry like little girls if you properly include them in their terrorist acts.

"Stop, don't say that!! oh knoes!!"

It's the most fucked up ass backwards thing. But then again most everything with a "Liberal" is.

I'll say it to Christians, I'll say it to Jews, I'll say it to Muslims, I'll say it to kids that still believe in Santa Claus.  I ain't care.  Grow up, America.
