these are a few macros that should help out for dpsing as a hunter. what these macros allow you to do is cast steady shot without cutting off your auto shots.

/castsequence reset=2 Steady shot(Rank 1), auto shot

all this macro does is stop your steady shots from cutting off your auto shots.

/script UIErrorsFrame:Hide()
/castsequence reset=3 Steady Shot, Auto Shot
/cast [exists,target=pettarget] Kill Command
/script UIErrorsFrame:Clear(); UIErrorsFrame:Show()

this macro does the same as the first but also puts in your killcomand ability into the same button.

to max out your dps as a hunter you want to just click this macro. i know, its boring and your finger cramps after awhile but clicking this button along with bestial rath, trinkets, and if your an orc use the racial, you will be #1 on dps.

as MM i like to throw in multi shot whenever its up, but for the most part press that macro till ur finger falls off.

Thanks for the macro.  But, I've never used macro's, never really needed 'em, and I do just fine on DPS.  To each his own however.  Problem is, I'm so used to just moving my fingers to the buttons that need to be pressed (or moving the cursor) that I think I would hate it if it changed...  Matter of fact I've tried to change my buttons around so they made a bit more sense...and I hated that.

I feel your pain Stu.  I have three hunters, and all of them have the same layout.  I can't change the setup or I fuck things up when I try to do them.  It's sad to since my layout makes no sense i just put things in the order i got them mostly rofl.

Although lately, its been so laggy in certain areas, I'm thinking maybe a macro or 2 may make my head not explode during a raid.
