Battle for Middle Earth 2

HELP

I have gone round and round with tech support and it still will not run on VISTA, any ideas? I tried running BFME 2 in widows xp and window 98 and I keep getting the same error "invalid operating system"?

Switch to XP

This thread also says that you can either try installing SP1 or downloading a compatibility patch (link at the bottom of the first page.. virus scan first )

Vista  SP1 is really nice now so the vista jokes aren't entirely accurate anymore.
