Weird?  No way!  This kid is a comic genius!!!  Here he is, presented with what can only seem to a child of that age as a terrifyingly intimidating chance to speak to the world via the local news affiliate, and does he say something bland and childish like, "Candy is tasty" or "Zombies are fun and scary"?  Nope.  He steps up to the plate with grace and, completely unfazed by the camera in his face and his shit-eating parents off to the side glowingly watching their brave little boy, knocks it out of the park with the simplest, most irrelevant comment he can come up with, "I like turtles."  Well played little one.  You have a glorious future ahead of you!

nah we'll just make a podcast/youtube channel and just steal the idea from family guy and call it Grinds my Gears and have you rant for 5-10 mins, film it, post it, collect ad money

have your people call my people

done.

edit:  We need you to do the shows all sauced up on JD then we can have them sponsor it

P.S. This is why I could never be a newscaster.
