Lately I have been riding the local transit system because I really hate spending 80 bucks a week on gas and I can ride the bus for free. It's sweet....picks me up close to my house and drops me off at the university 30 minutes later.
Some of the people on the bus are hysterical. The one I ride has a little group of people that must have been riding the bus together for years. They trade books and recipes and ask about each others kids. Then there are a few gangsta's that get on but they behave. Today I noticed this ruffled fellow get on. His suit was pretty sharp but his hair was a wild mess and have about 6 days growth on his patchy beard. He sits down and opens his briefcase and I noticed he had 3 apples, 2 pears, grapes, and a handful of strawberries all rolling around loose in it. He also had 4 crumpled and worn sheets of paper. From what I could tell as he studied them they were handouts for local concerts. I spent the rest of the trip fascinated by this loon.
I think that will be me in a few years honestly. So keep aggravating me

I broke the axle on my truck in a snowstorm a year ago, rode the bus for two months while it was getting fixed. One fun thing about the bus is definately "people watching"  |
