Good god, I don't know how they ate that 2lb burger. I can scarf a large pizza down , but only if I do it quick before my brain tells my fat ass to quit eating (takes about 20 mins)

  Having been to both Pirmanti's and Denny's pub I figure I should post in this one.

The burger is BIGGER in person fella.  They also have a 6 pounder but you have to call ahead to get one because its basically like cooking a whole roast. 

Now pirmanti's Best late night bite you'll find anywhere. 

I reccomend the "Cap(icola) egg and cheese" my personal favorite.  They also sell a great thin pizza that's worth a try.  If you want the real Pirmanti experience go to the original in the strip district.  2nd choice is the Oakland one (Next to the University of Pgh.) And no earlier than 2am dammit!  The satelites are nicer but not the same (for those spoiled enough to be picky). 

I think I was 30 before i ate one sober.  Just as good if you were wondering.  If you guys make the trip drop me a message and I give you the tour.

Maybe next time.  Oh and there is a Pirmantis down in southside if your looking for one.  Personally I would go to the "Pretzel shop" if your down there(southside).  It's by the birmingham bridge.  They use fresh baked soft pretzels for the buns. Go for the italian sausage one, got a little bite to it but topnotch!

ya, we have a pretzle bun place here in Ohio.  I think it may be a chain.  The Pirmantis on the South Side is the only one I have ever eaten at.  Guess i will stick with it.
