yeah i believe the 3rd weekend is the crawl for cancer. basically we get a team of 10 people and we go to 5 bars, drink 20 pitchers of beer, and then go to an after party with free beer. at $35 bucks a person, its a good cause and a good time.
So, the crawl is actually May 30th. Guess what? I have drill that weekend too! (only 3 more years of this shit...)
Now the only person with an April 18th conflict is Kith. Kith would you really go?
Making up drills is a huge pain in the gonads for me, since I either need to come in on a SUTA or when we're doing a flyby or launching/recovering for a deployment that I'm not on. All of the other days I could come in is when I work my real job, so it kind of makes that difficult unless I want to burn vacation days. This year is going to be particularly interesting, since I will need to make up potentially 2 drill weekends due to the fact I'll be on TDY during the Jan and Feb UTA. That makes missing any others almost out of the question.
All of that said, I'll probably be a gametime decision since I don't know how it will all play out. I'll let you know.
