Seems like a good way to get back into the game too...it's been forever since I've played and having pre built decks (and having your opponent picking from the same set of prebuilt decks) would simplify it quite a bit.  Of course the addiction will lead you to make your own...and like the article said, Magic Online is better for that.

The demo is on live, I actually played it the other day. Very nice explanation of how the game works for noobs. Would love to see some of the higher level decks

picked it up last week, beat it in 3 days and have been playing the 2headed ogre matches with a friend of mine. Overall worth the 10 bucks (a starter deck will put you back at least 12 nowadays). AI is about what it was back in Shandalaar, but online play is pretty fun. 8 decks in all, enough to keep you hooked for a while

Can you tap the computers lands on their turn to make them eat mana burn like in the old PC game? hehe

haha, well, if they update it with the new rules for Magic 2010, there is no more mana burn. Doesn't make sense to me though
