ok I got in....
initial impressions:
The graphics are AWESOME. Environments are sweet. Cutscenes of course are epic.
I started a marauder. I went out and did the guildleve and combat is pretty straight forward. I then was confused because I couldnt get another quest it said I had to go back to the guild hall thingier and reset it but when I got back into town the server shit. Definitively feels like FFXIV.
the 360 controller is hella nice. Seems easier to use than FF11.
If anyone starts up let me know and I will make a character and run with you.
I'll let Rand post his feelings.....he sounded like he might not get it.

Ok so I decided to try the open beta. I got my key instantly after applying. I will log and hang out in the WOLV TS3 if I am in-game. Think that is best way to meet up with people.
