If he was serious about the issues, he would have stated his questions like this.

"Why did you concede the election when there were suspected 5 million votes that were suppressed"
"If you are worried about Iran being invaded, how come you haven't passed a motion to impeach Bush and Cheney"
"Were you a member of the blah"

You get the point.  You don't yell into a microphone causing a scene and exclaiming that a president got impeached for a blowjob.  Truthful as it may be, he was asking to be cut off at that point.  And continuing to yell after his mic was cut off and causing a scene.... yeah

The guy was out of line, the police were way out of line, but I think the real story is being over looked. John Kerry who had a very real shot of becoming president a few thousand peoples votes from being the man to take the reigns to calm down a worried nation with family members and friends at war, a shaky economy, and high gas prices, and to try to enstill fair and uncorrupted leadership to foreign countries filled with people who are afraid to rise up and speak for themselves because of years of oppression and the fear that we will drop them like we did after the gulf war, and the man can't even take control of a room of college students and rent a cops

I think what Night is most concerned about is the underlying point that the guy was forcibly removed from the podium in the first place.  The tazing was just icing on the cake. 

Sure, you can argue that he did not deliver his questions in a sedated, normal, watered-down manner like I'm sure everyone else did.  But that hardly justifies him being interrupted and removed from the event.

Remember, this country was founded by people who stood up to the governing body and said, "What the fuck!?".  The moment we start allowing people to be hushed because they are a voice of dissent or bring up a sensitive topic for discussion is the moment we concede the most sacred right we are supposed to have:  Free Speech.
